Malawi

Following a successful relationship in several other countries, FAMS Group signed an agency agreement with DSV for Malawi in 2021. FAMS then began developing the FAMS brand and service offering in Lilongwe and Blantyre, operating as FAMS Air & Sea Ltd.

FAMS has developed a strong local management team who have considerable experience in relevant sectors such as agricultural commodities, pharmaceutical, and automotive industries.

FAMS Malawi provides a full logistics service covering all modes of transport as well as warehousing and distribution. It will operate its own MRA bond, customs licenses and bonded warehouse facilities. FAMS has its own offices in Blantyre and Lilongwe as well as warehousing facilities. It has border office representation at all key border points.

Like Zimbabwe and elsewhere in the FAMS Group, FAMS Malawi also operates Cargowise © - a world class cargo management system which provides visibility for global supply chains and easy access to cargo tracking and reporting data.
