FAMS Zimbabwe has had its roots in Zimbabwe since 1975. The company became the exclusive agent for DSV in 2019 when it took over the assets, personnel and activities of legacy DSV operations.

FAMS Zimbabwe’s owners and directors all possess long experience in logistics within the region and a deep knowledge of Zimbabwe's key industrial sectors, including minerals, tobacco, and energy.

The company has approximately 50 employees. It has its own vehicle fleet, warehousing and distribution trucks. It operates its own ZIMRA bond, customs licenses and bonded warehouse facilities.

FAMS also has a Bulawayo office and warehouse and its own border offices and staff at all key border points with South Africa (Beitbridge) , Mozambique (Forbes), and Botswana (Plumtree).

FAMS Zimbabwe is a member of SFAAZ  and the Harare Chamber of Commerce.
