Client Appreciation Cocktails

The valued clients of FAMS Freight & Management Solutions were gifted a year end festive cocktail party. Lasting 3 hours, this event took place at 6PM on the 3rd of December last year in 2022. FAMS was honored to host the celebration at esteemed function venue, The Golden Conifer, located in the lush suburbs of Monavale in Harare. This holiday event was a reward to our most valued customers for their continued patronage and loyalty. We at FAMS believe in giving back to our partners in business.

FAMS is a freight forwarding company known for its exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering goods on time and in good condition. With our expertise and professionalism, we have assisted the exponential growth of our clients’ businesses over the years. In turn, it is our clients loyalty to our service that enables us to invest our bonded warehouses, fleet of vehicles, and staff training. We believed it was time to show our appreciation to the partners providing this most valued support.

The Night

The cocktail was set to officially begin at 6PM, but many attendees were eager to start the night and arrived at 5:30PM. They were warmly greeted by the FAMS Zimbabwe team, who had already finished preparing the evenings event. By 6PM, 94 patrons had come in attendance to the festivities.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a free cocktail of their choice then given time to freely mingle with each other, forming new partnerships and developing potential future business.

Our Master of Ceremonies, Chief Godfrey Koti took center stage and guided the hall throughout the night’s events.

It was a festive atmosphere, with food and drink served all throughout the evening.

The Speeches

Four speeches were made by representatives of FAMS. First were the managers of the  sales and operations divisions of FAMS Zimbabwe. Daniel Sakupwanya, the head of sales, and Timothy Nyanzira, the head of operations, gave thanks to all in attendance, and spoke about how their divisions had grown over the past few years.

The country manager of FAMS Zimbabwe, Peter Kazingizi, then took the stage and gave his appreciation for the partnerships between FAMS and it’s many clients.

Finally, Stephen Harley, one of the 3 directors of FAMS, stood to discuss the history of FAMS, and how it would be expanding in the future.

The fifth and final speech was made by a guest speaker: the Zimbabwe Commissioner of Custom,

Batsirai Chadzingwa. He gave his own thanks to FAMS for hosting the event, and brought to light how vital business growth was to the development of Zimbabwe’s economy.

The Prizes

After each speech, a raffle was held. Each attendee had provided their business card upon arrival which were then mixed and randomly pulled out of a bowl. The winner of each raffle would receive a grand prize and an opportunity to give a quick word on stage about the event. There were five raffles in total, meaning there were five grand prizes to be had.

The atmosphere was electric, with clients cheering and clapping as their fellow attendees won quality items, such as a vintage wine and wine set. The winners were very happy with their rewards and all gave their sincere appreciation to FAMS for hosting the event.

As the event reached its conclusion, MC Koti gave a final thanks to FAMS and those who attended. He urged them to spread the word about FAMS Zimbabwe to their friends and colleagues, and to continue to trust them with their freight forwarding needs. Those who did not win one of the five grand raffles were not to leave empty handed however. On the way out, each guest was provided with a FAMS gift bag, containing a professional work notebook, a nib ink pen and a beautiful, branded keyring.

The client appreciation cocktail event proved to be a great success. Many of the guests stood at the end, unprompted, and empathized their enjoyment of the nights festivities and their enthusiasm for a continued relationship with FAMS.

The team at FAMS Zimbabwe is thrilled with this outcome. The event has shown clients how much FAMS values their business and strengthened their partnerships with them in the process. And this event is only the beginning. The FAMS team will continue to go above and beyond for their clients in the years to come.
