FAMS Malawi is hiring! National Operations Manager!
FAMS Air & Sea Ltd (Malawi) is open to application for the position of National Operations Manager. This position offers a management role over the operations department of FAMS Malawi. It involves management of the National Operations & Customs Brokerage Team (O&CBT), with a “hands on” approach. Communication is essential as continuous interaction with customers, suppliers, and agents will be required. Travel is also required, both domestic and international.
A successful Operations Manager will lead the O&CBT to maximize productivity and deliver high quality customer service. They will manage the teams transactional and physical operations, reporting to the senior management of FAMS, and they must act as a logistics expert for all modes of transport, import or export.
All this must be done while ensuring adherence to FAMS internal compliance standards and local Malawian laws & regulations.
You must meet the following qualifications to apply:
- Minimum of three (3) years freight forwarding industry operational experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Comprehension of operational and customs systems.
- Drivers Liscence.
- Be a Malawi citizen or permanent resident.
